Ex-Arsenal idol fears the Gunners ace wants to revive his partnership with his compatriot, who he won back-to-back Copas Americas with, in Bavaria.
Thierry Henry has admitted that Alexis Sanchez could be tempted to
leave Arsenal and join up with compatriot Arturo Vidal at Bayern
Munich.
The Chilean has become a firm favourite at the Emirates Stadium
since joining from Barcelona, but talks over a new contract have stalled
due to his wage demands.
And while the Gunners idol would love to see Alexis stay put, he is
aware that the club must play a fine balancing act with him and another
superstar.
"I want him to sign, everybody wants him to sign," Henry explained to Sky Sports.
"That’s a tricky one for the club. That’s why you have guys there to be able to deal with that.
"But, as an Arsenal fan, I want Alexis Sanchez to stay for life because he is the future of the club. Same with Mesut Ozil."
When asked where the forward could end up, Henry signalled that the chance to play alongside Vidal could prove decisive.
"If he ever leaves then you would think the likes of Bayern are going to come, Paris Saint-Germain," he added.
