Nigerian
teen sensation, Kelechi Iheanacho has won the CNN Goal of the week
award for his wonder strike that helped Nigeria beat Tanzania 1-0 in a
dead rubber tie.

in the 1-0 win against Tanzania during the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifier clash in Uyo, has won the 'CNN Goal of the Week' award.
It can be recalled that the Manchester City forward unleashed a
left-foot strike from outside the 18-yard box which flew past Tanzania
keeper, Aishi Manula who had an outstanding game.
Iheanacho’s goal went viral on the internet with most people
praising the technique behind the volley which secured second place
finish for the Eagles behind Group G winners and sole qualifiers Egypt,
and help new manager, Gernot Rohr start his tenure on a winning note.
"Congratulations to the latest CNN Goal of the Week winner, Kelechi Iheanacho!," CNN Football wrote on their official Twitter handle on Thursday.
The organisers took into consideration, all the goals scored during
the recently concluded international break and, the 19 year old well
hit effort from the edge of Tanzania box was selected as the winner.
Iheanacho could be drafted in for suspended Sergio Aguero in Saturday's Manchester derby at Old Trafford.
