An
armed robber in the South-eastern part of Nigeria has been sent to his
untimely death following a mob action after a failed criminal operation.

Another robbery suspect has been lynched in Aba, Abia state after
he was nabbed in a failed operation. This increases the number of jungle
justice cases recorded in the last couple of days.
According to the social media user who posted the news, his team
was confronted by an organised vigilant group who repelled their
invasion. Others escaped while this unlucky robber was caught and
lynched summarily.

"Around 1am today these guys stormed into one popular community
(Umuode Village) at Aba, shooting sporadically. Unfortunately for
them, the guys living around that area were always prepared for
robbers, hence there was exchange of bullets among both parties.
So unfortunately for this one, he was caught by the group who
brutally killed him to serve as a deterrent to other aspiring robbers in
the locality"
